Crazy Combattants at t again!!
« on: March 31, 2013, 01:58:15 pm »
I am at a total loss why these fools are allowed to get away with their actions. Seriously there are genuine performers who are being denied to  use their  trade. Some of these women especially the blonde should sell off some of their jewellery and custom designer bags they are showing on Facebook send the  funds to Congo along with some of their  other pricey trinkets.
It's fairly obvious these so called Combattants aren't starving in Europe some look like they should go on a hunger strike and get some proceeds to all those way extra kilos among them they'd lose.  They could get quite a bit of $$$$$$

The hypocrisy they people spew is pathetic...

So disappointing to ruin music with politics, when music is actually a way to bring unity. Sad for all Congolese musicians in Paris these days.

There are some concerts going on you just have to know where to go. But it is about control , these idiots feel they have everyone under their thumbs They are no better than the dictators they protest if not worse.

As some African leaders are no more than warlords or gangster bosses, these combattants seem to be cut from the same wood. It's got nothing to do with politics, it's youth gangs controlling their "hood". Politics are just an excuse. Congo doesn't need to have a devastading internal war continuing into the diaspora...

The behaviour by these Combattants should have been dealt with right from the onset .  Authorities  were very aware of their threats along with intimidation. These people in many instances are those that fled Congo when war was breaking out in the early 90's and Mobutu was on his last legs. So many fled to France & Belgium obtaining political  asylum . Some were known  to have been members of the feared DSP ( Division Spéciale Présidentielle  they were known to inflict severe punishment and torture also the feared  Guard Civile )
This gave them the perfect opportunity to create a lot of dissention in Congo and Europe North America by  taking control  under the guise of  being Anti Kabila. Of course there are numerous who did have "good intentions" in trying to drive the government in Congo out.
Extortion is  commonly used by intimidating businesses not only in France Belgium but here in Canada in particular Montreal.  They burned a Cafe down that had apartments above it causing people to lose their homes and livielihood. These are criminals . You can not successfully engage with these Combattants to ask them to STOP their activities. they are living off stolen goods. You would have to be naieve to think that stolen CD's packed in  just received boxes are destroyed. Not just CD's DVD's  food products  that are imported jewellery designer  handbags shoes etc.. They are sold for profit on the Black Market. Throughout Europe and Africa. They are thieves and criminals Unless the artists start fighting back  the situation will become exceedingly worse.  There have been  beatings  if the victims do not co-operate  they will resort to killings.  Names and addresses of Artists are released to the Combattants. They have shown up at their homes they are not going for tea and chit chat.  Artists/people need to be reporting these criminals to the authorities. Quit being afraid of their intimidation tactics.. Maybe they should be deported back to Congo. It would be interesting to see how long they would survive if they pulled that crap there.
So many artists are financially affected by not being allowed to hone their craft. They may have to start hiring their own security guards as Fere Gola and Fally have done. People should not have to live in fear if they venture out to hear music and do a little dancing. Especially if they already left one form of violence.

I've seen video of combattants vs police in Paris. The cops, as far as I am able to tell, see this as non-French people doing something non-French to other non-French people and they don't seem to give a damn.
