Koffi to quit this summer and become a producer

I read on vibesdafrique that Koffi olomide plans to retire this year. Is this true or is it a rumour? I believe if it is true, he should not retire. I love his songs. I like Koffi a lot.

Impossible to picture Koffi without the Miles Davis shades, fur hats, etc., in a producer business suit.

I  won't shed a tear... the man was a parody of  a musician for at least the past ten years.

I admit I still like Koffi but do not necessarily like the direction he has taken over the past few years. More so with Cindy
Perhaps it's time he does retire go on a significant hiatus who knows if he comes back sense may have returned as well.... ;D

I just hope he will be a producer of endless, mabanga-covered ballads with nonsensical rhythm changes. We just don't get enough of that these days! Sigh...
