Greetings all.  Just registered.  Found this site by google search of "differences between congo and kenya kiswahili."  My church has a small congregation of folks from Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, and some other places.  We have a Sunday afternoon service in Kiswahili.  I'm trying to learn the songs and some of the liturgy along with greetings and conversation.  I have learned that the google translate program does not help me.  "mkali kulungu" which I thought was a rough translation of my name "Clarence (latin for bright, clear, shining) Hart (middle English for stag or buck) didn't work out at all.  According to my young mentor "mkali" means angry and a better word for deer would be "pongo."  He told me "mwangaza" is a better word for "bright" and that I might as well just go by "Claire" as the masculine French of my name.  Does anyone know where I might get a good, modern Swahili Bible and maybe a Book of Common Prayer used by the Anglican church in East Africa (or maybe there's a Tanzanian version but also others)?  If this site is not appropriate to these questions, please guide me somewhere else.  Asante.
