Funny that you chose this painting of mine as a banner!
I also cohost a program called The Motherland Influence with another guy, DJ Graybeard. We've been presenting this program for about 20 years now. We alternate 1/2 hour shifts playing African, Latin & Caribbean music. Very heavy on the African music. The show airs every Sunday 5:00-7:00 PM

David I chose it because I think it's a great self portrait. as a sort of artist myself I can appreciate  the  humour.. ;D
I was actually going to make a separate  post to for the Motherland Influence. It's a great show, a wide range of music

It's too easy. Just click the listen button...
Or if you've got to be out, go to WRIR on RadioSure and record it.
Or just wait for the rebroadcasts. You can find them at www.ambiancecongo.blogspot.com

There were a few. Ibrahim Ba hosted one on the UDC station (I think).
Then there was another on the Pacifica station. That one was really great.
